Contact by email or through the referral form to introduce the nature of the referral and the assessment questions. An initial conversation will follow to discuss service fit, fees, and the assessment process.
Once service fit is confirmed, relevant records and materials are transferred and handled with strict confidentiality. Records are carefully reviewed prior to scheduling the interview appointment.
Clinical interview and standardized psychological testing conducted in person in Vancouver, BC, or via secure videoconference. Assessment includes validated instruments appropriate to the referral questions.
A comprehensive written report is prepared and delivered to the referring party within the agreed timeline. Follow-up questions regarding the report can be addressed as needed.

Dr. Marilyn Kwong is a Clinical Psychologist (Licensed) practising in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a focus on medicolegal psychological assessment. Her practice is oriented toward producing independent evaluations that are clinically rigorous, methodologically defensible, and clearly communicated for legal and insurance contexts.
Her assessment work draws on evidence-based psychodiagnostic methodology, including validated psychological testing for diagnostic clarification and symptom validity assessment. Once received, a follow-up conversation will be arranged to discuss the nature of the referral, the assessment questions, service fit, fees, and the assessment process. Transfer of relevant records can be arranged following that initial discussion.
